We have just recently converted this 150 year old building into our new sales office and showroom breathing new life into this beautiful charactered building that had been redundant for the last 25 years.

TIM BLYTHE – SALES DIRECTOR
Tim joined the company in 1991 as a young apprentice and after 3 years of college and on-site training he qualified as a plant mechanic and was soon honing his skills both here in the workshop and as one of our site service engineers. He has since stepped up to just about every job there is to have within the Jay Bee Group gaining a full understanding of all the skills needed to operate and run a small but successful plant hire and sales company. For the past 12 years Tim has been working alongside his father Jim on the plant sales side of the business and hopes to continue in what his father started in taking the company onwards and upwards.
JIM BLYTHE – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Jim is the owner and founder of Jay Bee Plant Sales Ltd. Jim began working with plant machinery in the army for the Royal Engineers leaving there to become a sales rep for Kellands in the early seventies. Then in 1973 he started his own company buying and selling used plant machinery, called Freeway Plant Sales. In 1976 he bought his own depot with workshop and expanded the business to include sales, repairs, spares, haulage and plant hire. Jim continues heading up the business, now trading as Jay Bee Plant Sales, with the same energy and enthusiasm as the day he started.
LEIGH CHAPMAN – OFFICE MANAGER
We welcome Leigh, our newest member of the team. She joins us with over 14 years of sales, marketing and administration experience. Leigh helps with all aspects of running the office and will eventually include machine sales, so if you would rather deal with a female, then Leigh’s your woman!!
